Every week throughout the 2010-11 season, you will get the chance to vote for the Canadiens play of the week. Each week’s winning play will automatically earn an entry into the year-end elimination tournament which will decide the play of the year.

Here are the nominees from the Canadiens playoff series against the Bruins:

One Armed Bandit
(Game 4 vs. BOS)
A sprawling Carey Price battles through a sea of players to help the Habs hang on to their third period lead, robbing Brad Marchand with a glove-save courtesy of his only remaining free limb.

Penalty-Killer Instinct
(Game 7 vs. BOS)
After being a dominant force on the Canadiens’ penalty-kill all season long, Tomas Plekanec scores his biggest goal of the year, stealing the puck and potting an unassisted shorthanded marker against the Bruins.

Bring on the Boos
(Game 7 vs. BOS)

Considering how much the Bruins and their fans dislike P.K. Subban, it should be a small comfort to the Montreal faithful that the rookie defenseman managed to annoy the entire city of Boston one final time with a clutch power-play goal to the tie things up in the dying minutes of Game 7.
