On October 27, 1981, the Canadiens hosted the Philadelphia Flyers at the Forum. Keith Acton scored his first hat trick as a Hab, in addition to registering an assist on Steve Shutt’s second goal. Shutt ended his night with a total of five points, netting two goals and setting up three of his teammates. The Habs closed out the match with an 11-2 win over the Flyers, making it the largest margin of victory between both teams.
