Top 10 - Canadiens triumphant trades
Montreal – Toronto (Jun. 26, 1975)
In the summer of 1975, Canadiens GM Sam Pollock and Maple Leafs GM Jim Gregory came to terms on a deal that saw them exchange a pair of promising young prospects, with Doug Jarvis coming to Montreal and Greg Hubick heading to Toronto. Pollock would ultimately emerge as the victor of that particular trade as Jarvis quickly morphed into the Habs’ resident iron man, not missing a single game in his seven seasons with the bleu-blanc-rouge.
Hubick as a Leaf: 72 games played, 6 goals, 8 assists.
Jarvis as a Hab: 560 games played, 91 goals, 154 assists.
