Max Pacioretty has registered four goals and eight points in 15 career games against the Maple Leafs.
The Habs welcome the Maple Leafs to town for a classic Saturday night showdown at the Bell Centre.

The Canadiens will be out for revenge after seeing Toronto spoil their home opener on Jan. 19, losing 2-1 to the visitors in their first game of the season. Michel Therrien’s troops will also be looking to snap a two-game losing skid after leaving Buffalo with a 5-4 shootout loss on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Leafs will be looking for a third-straight win when they head to the Bell Centre, coming off a 3-2 win over the Jets in Winnipeg. Saturday’s game will also be the last of a three-game road trip for Randy Carlyle’s squad.

Mikhail Grabovski picked up six points – including three goals – in six games against the Habs in 2011-12.

  • After picking up two points on Thursday, Tomas Plekanec now has six points in his last five games.
  • Carey Price will get his ninth start of the season on Saturday. Price has registered 10 wins in 20 starts against the Leafs in his career.
  • P.K. Subban will look to extend his goal streak to three games on Saturday night.
  • Michel Therrien confirmed Ryan White will not be in the lineup against the Leafs.
  • The Leafs’ leading scorer in 2011-12 with 37 goals, Phil Kessel finally found the back of the net for the first time on Thursday, scoring the 100th goal of his career with Toronto, against the Jets.
  • With nine points in 11 games, Nazem Kadri is just three points shy of matching his career-high of 12 points set during the 2010-11 season.
  • Mike Komisarek will not be in the lineup for the Leafs on Saturday.
  • After handing the Habs a loss on opening night, Leafs netminder Ben Scrivens has started just two of his team’s last eight games.
“We’re a much different team now than we were during that first game of the season.”
