As has been the case over the last few years, the Boston Bruins will once again find themselves among the league’s powerhouses in 2014-15. While Jarome Iginla is a significant loss, the Bruins’ top two lines remain relatively intact, so the reigning Presidents’ Trophy winners are in good shape despite the sharpshooter’s departure. Claude Julien will feature a balanced lineup, one that is led by goaltender Tuukka Rask, who established several personal records last season to pick up the first Vezina Trophy of his career. Nevertheless, the Bruins will try to erase all memory of their elimination at the hands of the Canadiens in Round 2 of the playoffs last spring.
